Jodie Carey: Hearts and Bones at Gabriel Rolt Gallery, Amsterdam

* AMSTERDAM, June 27, 2007 – Galerie Gabriel Rolt is proud to present a duo exhibition of new oil paintings by British artist Paul Haworth (Lancaster, 1982) and a site specific installation by British artist Jodie Carey (Battle, 1981) consisting of memorial slabs made of lard and adorned with paper flower arrangements stained with blood. Carey recently graduated from a Masters in Sculpture at the Royal Academy of Arts in London and Haworth currently works at residency De Ateliers in Amsterdam.   read more

Alexia Goethe Gallery undergoes a change

For the next 6 weeks the Alexia Goethe Gallery will be undergoing refurbishment in preparation for a relaunch in October with the solo exhibition of Gabriel Klasmer. The exhibition will be accompanied by a publication on painting with essays by Andrew Renton, Jonathan Miles, Tony Godffrey and Mark Rappolt with an introduction by Itamar Levi. The book will be available at the end of September, for further information please contact sales@goethegallery.com.
